Jakarta Government and Education and Culture Ministry cooperate and sign an agreement regarding continuous professional development (PKB) for teachers.
We want school principals' leadership to increase
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan and Directorate General of Teachers and Educational Personnel, Supriano.
City Council: Education System Needs ImprovementThis MoU is a legal basis to implement PKB program for teachers in Jakarta. Both sides cooperate in providing education and training (Diklat) and improving competence of prospective school principals, prospective school supervisor, existing school principals and school supervisors.
Next, Diklat for civil apparatuses (PNS) with Widyaiswara rank who teach prospective school principals and prospective school supervisors, competence test and certification for school principals and prospective school principals, then improving competence for other educators.
"We are agreed to give training for teachers and other educators in Jakarta. This training will be done comprehensively in Solo," he said at City Hall, Thursday (1/17).
He hopes teaching materials and curriculum will met the education needs in the future and has an aspect in improving school principal's leadership.
"We want school principals' leadership to increase. Thus education quality can be improved from time to time," he asserted.
